As many of our regular customers will know, a car crash in November last year caused significant damage to the barn. As a result, our café is now temporarily closed while we carry out essential repair works. We're very sorry for the disruption and truly appreciate your patience and support.

New Year News - The Velo Barn is now a fully fledged REILLY dealer.
Mark Reilly started building steel road bikes back in the 1990’s. He was mostly self taught, but acknowledged that he learnt much from working alongside master frame builder Ron Cooper, who himself served an apprenticeship with A.S. Gillot Bicycles in the late 1940’s.
It wasn’t until Mark established Omega Cycleworks, with patternmaker Neil Fitzgerald that the vision really started to take shape: a vision of hancrafted, fillet-brazed or lugg steel frames and smooth tig-welded aluminium frames for racing and time trials.
That passion for craftmenship quickly led Mark and Neil to discover the ‘magical’ properties of titanium which combined with stiffness of steel with the lightness of aluminium to offer an exceptional mix of comfort, strength and responsiveness.
Reilly offers a small but distinct range of high-end titanium road and gravel framesets which combine tradittional with continued innovation.
If you are considering a Titanium bike build then pop in and see us, we have a small selection of built bikes on display and can if required obtain a built test bike at short notice for you to take out for a spin.
With the combined quality of Reilly’s frames and our workshop teams technical expertise we can build you the bike of your dreams!

At The Velo Barn, we are passionate about creating a community around cycling and coffee. Our café and cycle workshop are run by cyclists for cyclists, and we welcome everyone to come and enjoy our cosy space. Whether you need a quick bike tune-up or just a place to grab a bite to eat, we have you covered. Our wood burning stove and outside seating area make it a great spot to gather with friends or family, and our secure bike parking area ensures that your bike is always safe. Come visit us today!
